Texto Livre: Linguagem e Tecnologia é um periódico semestral, com avaliação de pares, mantido pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (Brasil) desde 2008 e publica artigos científicos, resenhas e ensaios tendo como temática a relação interdisciplinar entre linguagem e tecnologias digitais. Tem como missão fomentar a produção científica na área de estudos de linguagem, em especial análise, prática e ensino de produção textual com uso de novas tecnologias livres, além de estudos sobre documentação e divulgação de software livre, permitindo a pesquisadores do Brasil e do exterior divulgarem suas pesquisas e contribuírem para o debate e o progresso científico na área. São temas correlatos de interesse desse periódico: intertextualidade, usabilidade, uso de computador em sala de aula, cultura livre, inclusão digital, letramento digital, divulgação em software livre e outros temas da relação linguagem e tecnologia. Texto Livre: Linguagem e Tecnologia is a a peer-reviewed biannual journal, sponsored by the School of Letters of theFederal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil) since 2008 and publishes scientific papers, reviews and essays in the field of interdisciplinary relationship between language and digital technologies. Its mission is to promote scientific production in the field of language studies, especially analysis, practice and teaching of writing with free and open new technologies as well as studies on documentation and dissemination of free and open software, allowing researchers from Brazil and abroad to share their research and contribute to the debate and scientific progress in the area. Related topics of interest to this journal are: intertextuality, usability, computer use in the classroom, free culture, digital inclusion, digital literacy, dissemination of free software and other topics regarding the language and technology.
