Gruppo Italiano Frattura is a cultural association concerned in :1) spreading and promoting works and reserches about fracture phoenomena, even forming workgroups; 2) promoting all the activities concerning the devolepment of materials and structure testing standards; 3) cohoperating with foreign associations with the same intents (International Congress on Fracture, ICF; European Group of Fracture, EGF; etc.) 4) organizing meetings (at least, every 2 years), workshops, conferences, debates and courses about fracture phoenomena and publishing meetings proceedings, news, journal etc. Frattura ed Integrità Strutturale is the official journal of Gruppo Italiano Frattura. It publishes scientific articles, technical notes and book reviews. Submissions may be in Italian or English.
