Nanomechanics is an international journal focusing on exploring a mechanical motion at the nanoscale for control of electrical and optical properties, various measurement techniques, and possible device applications.The variety of topics covered includes, but is not restricted to: effects of a mechanical movement on electric properties of artificial nanostructures; optical control of mechanical oscillators, radiation-pressure effects, nonlinear light-matter interactions; measurement devices and sensors based on mechanical displacements; quantization of mechanical motion, single photon/phonon regime, nonclassical states of hybrid systems; surface acoustic waves; bionanomotors.
