The Open Journal of Applied Chemistry and Biotechnology provides a medium for the rapid publication of both full-length articles and short communications on novel and innovative aspects of biotechnology. Papers presenting information of a multidisciplinary nature that would not be suitable for publication in a journal devoted to a single discipline are particularly welcome. OJACB publishes papers on the fundamentals of chemical engineering, including the development of chemical engineering knowledge and process into and from other disciplines including biology, chemistry, physics, and applied mathematics. We welcome manuscripts describing original research, with significant results based on experiments and/or developments in theory. Industrial areas covered by the journal include biotechnology, chemicals, energy, food, materials, microelectronics, nanotechnology, specialty chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
