It covers all aspects of optogenetics, from novel optogenetic tools of in vivo and in vitro devices, to their application for basic and clinical research, and as prosthetic devices. The scope of the journal ensures that there is a common platform for those using optogenetics as a research tool and therapeutics, and that they could share new knowledge and cutting edge developments within and beyond the optogenetic scientific community.
