The aim of the journal is to publish new information that would lead to a better understanding of biological mechanisms of production of human diseases, their prevention and diagnosis as early as possible and to monitor therapy and the development of the health of patients. Revista Română de Medicină de Laborator (The Romanian Review of Laboratory Medicine) is the journal of Romanian Association of Medical Laboratories, published for the first time in 2005 in Romanian and beginning with 2008 entirely in English, with abstracts in English and Romanian.
