World Journal of Surgical Research welcomes articles in the field of clinical and laboratory investigations relevant to the field of Surgery, surgical practice and teaching and its allied subjects such as clinical trials, multimodality treatment, trauma, biomarkers, prevention, pathology, radiology, biochemistry, minimal invasive surgery and molecular biology. Emphasis is placed on original research articles, technical innovations and timely and systematic reviews. The journal may also published clinical case reports if they deal with unreported, unusual diseases or association of diseases, or new findings on pathogenesis and treatment of the disease relevant to surgical research.
