The International Journal of Biosafety and Biosecurity is a publication of the National Association of Biosecurity (ANBIO) and it is part of the Genetic and Biochemistry Institute (Instituto de Genética e Bioquímica) from the Federal University of Uberlandia (Universidade Federal de Uberlândia). The International Journal of Biosafety and Biosecurity aims to disseminate knowledge related to Biosafety and Biosecurity and its practices as a scientific subject; to get specialists together as a way of promoting a forum of discussion and information concerning topics related to Biosafety and Biosecurity and related fields. Its goal is: I- Promoting researches and scientific, social and didactic texts about Biosafety and Biosecurity; II- Funding interchange study programs with national and international institutions which publish similar material; III- Keeping academic and interdisciplinary relationship with national and international institutions which develop projects of teaching, research and extension as well as with national and international Governmental Departments.
