ISSN (printed): 2165-8188. ISSN (electronic): 2165-8196.
1. Phenomena: The journal would cover studies into the fundamental theoretical understanding of the origins and mechanisms of light emission and absorption; electroluminescence, electroabsorption, photoluminescence, fluorescence, stimulated emission and other electrical or optical phenomena. 2. Materials: Synthesis and characterization of inorganic, organometallic, organic and polymeric materials showing electronic, optical or nonlinear optical phenomena which would find applicability in display technology and/or imaging. The journal welcomes articles on methods for preparing and evaluating the chemical, physical, electronic, and optical properties of these materials. 3. Displays: Application of various materials for the realization of electronic displays and characterization of the devices. Study of their stability, efficiency and characteristics. 4. Imaging: Development of novel materials for imaging applications in material science, biology and medicine. Demonstration of usefulness of various classes of materials and /or improvement of their performance. The journal recognizes the multi-disciplinary nature of this field, and will include materials science and device implementation material, the physiological aspects as well as information science. The editors place emphasis on the importance of mutual interaction among the fields.
