ISSN (printed): 2165-8188. ISSN (electronic): 2165-8196.

1. Phenomena: The journal would cover studies into the fundamental theoretical understanding of the origins and mechanisms of light emission and absorption; electroluminescence, electroabsorption, photoluminescence, fluorescence, stimulated emission and other electrical or optical phenomena. 2. Materials: Synthesis and characterization of inorganic, organometallic, organic and polymeric materials showing electronic, optical or nonlinear optical phenomena which would find applicability in display technology and/or imaging. The journal welcomes articles on methods for preparing and evaluating the chemical, physical, electronic, and optical properties of these materials. 3. Displays: Application of various materials for the realization of electronic displays and characterization of the devices. Study of their stability, efficiency and characteristics. 4. Imaging: Development of novel materials for imaging applications in material science, biology and medicine. Demonstration of usefulness of various classes of materials and /or improvement of their performance. The journal recognizes the multi-disciplinary nature of this field, and will include materials science and device implementation material, the physiological aspects as well as information science.
