The IJEHDA is launched with the main intention of providing an appropriate international stage for original contributions and comprehensive review articles that disseminate information and demonstrate creativity and proven practices on innovation, research, and development that relate exclusively to challenges as well as opportunities in areas dominated by hot desert climatic conditions. As such, the journal is a typical multi-disciplinary medium for activities relating to the issues of hot desert regions. It is hoped that this publication satisfies a genuine need and will prove to be a unique forum for contributions in the following topical areas as they strictly relate to hot desert areas: energy issues relating to conventional and renewable energy; environmental issues, water resources issues; materials issues; and relevant and applicable codes and standards.
