The review focuses on the overlaps between onomastics and lexicology, providing papers which deal with conceptualizations, descriptions, classifications internal or contrastive from various theoretical frameworks within the European linguistic space. Under the heading Academica we present various scientific conferences. The review also illustrates the activity of the Research Center in Onomastics and Lexicology, inviting the contributions of the members of the center (members of the teaching staff, as well as PhD candidates and MA students) of the University of Craiova, but also of other researchers from Romania and abroad, interested in onomastics and lexicology. The target audience of the review comprises academics and researchers interested in the domains of lexicology, terminology, onomastics.
