The Sri Lanka Journal of Advanced Social Studies is published by the National Centre for Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences (NCAS). Articles on Social Science and Humanities are welcome. The major objective of the Journal is to provide a platform for the junior academics to improve their research skills in the fields of humanities and social sciences. It also gives ample opportunity to the successful postgraduate research scholars to disseminate their research findings to a wider audience. Dearth of such research output is a major constraint to academic and career development. Such findings will also be useful to the decision makers in the public and private sectors.
