Journal of Rural Research (JRUR) is a specialized, double-blind peer-reviewed, open access journal that provides rapid reviewing and publication of articles in all areas of rural studies. It has published by the center of Excellent in Rural Studies and Planning, Faculty of Geography, University of Tehran, since 2011. Journal of Rural Research (JRUR) is a multidisciplinary peer reviewed journal that publishes editorials, original full‐length research articles, short communications, reviews, methodological papers, commentaries, case-reports and perspectives in the broad fields of rural research, including rural development, rural tourism, rural participation, spatial analysis, sustainable rural development, rural management, rural-urban linkages and other related areas.
