The European Journal of Psychotraumatology (EJPT) is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary open access journal and the official organ of the European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ESTSS). EJPT aims to engage scholars, clinicians and researchers in the crucial discourse about traumatic stress and its consequences. The Journal is in line with ESTSS's mission to advance and disseminate scientific knowledge about traumatic stress within Europe and internationally, and is intended as a forum for the publication of peer-reviewed original research papers as well as to serve as a forum to disseminate evidence-based clinical practice. Being open access, the European Journal of Psychotraumatology is also evidence of ESTSS's stand on free accessibility of research publications to a wider scientific community via the web.
