Succédant à la revue TIS, Tic & société est consacrée à l’analyse des rapports entre les technologies de l’information et de la communication (TIC) et la société. Elle sollicite les textes dans lesquels l’analyse accordera une place centrale au social. Mais elle développe aussi un espace multidisciplinaire. C’est pourquoi elle s'intéresse non seulement aux approches sociologiques mais également aux approches socio-économiques, sociopolitiques, sociocognitives, etc. Les contributions peuvent être soit à dominante théorique, soit avoir un contenu principalement descriptif tout en comprenant dans ce deuxième cas une dimension analytique liée à un cadre théorique. Tic & société analyses the interactions between Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and society. The journal is interested in publishing texts focusing on those relationships from a social viewpoint, while developing a multidisciplinary perspective. Tic & société is not only interested in sociological approaches but also welcomes socio-economic, socio-political, socio-cognitive approaches, etc. Articles are either based on theory or descriptive content in which case they include an analytical dimension within a theoretical frame.
