La création de la revue e-Spania répond au grand développement des études hispaniques médiévales au cours des dix dernières années. La publication est ouverte à l’ensemble des études linguistiques, littéraires et historiques portant sur la péninsule Ibérique au Moyen Âge, mais la réflexion sur une histoire des pouvoirs dans l’aire castillano-léonaise constitue un axe majeur de la préoccupation des éditeurs. Dans ce cadre, un intérêt particulier est porté aux études concernant l’historiographie et l’iconographie. En outre, e-Spania promeut et valorise l’histoire des femmes de pouvoir. The e-Spania journal was created to respond to the great development of Hispanic medieval studies in the last ten years. The publication is open to all linguistic, literary, and historical studies relating to the Iberian peninsula in the Middle Ages, but the history of the power in the Castile-Leon region is one of the editors’ major preoccupations. To this end, particular interest is paid to studies relating to historiography and iconography. Furthermore, e-Spania also accentuates the history of women in power.
