Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) is clinical and applied journal that ranks consistently among the top journals in special education and rehabilitation. IDD is a journal of policy, practices, and perspectives for professionals, clinicians, and other support staff interested in intellectual disabilities and related developmental disabilities. Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities is dedicated to meeting the information needs of those who seek effective ways to help people with intellectual disabilities. The journal reports new teaching approaches, program developments, administrative tools, program evaluation, service utilization studies, community surveys, public policy issues, training and case studies, and current research in intellectual disabilities. Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities is a peer-reviewed journal whose consulting editors represent a broad spectrum of settings: universities, research centers, public and private residential care facilities, and specialized community service agencies. Appropriate audiences for IDD include professors at colleges and universities with disability and special education programs, teachers at special education K-12 schools, federal, state and local policymakers, community service organizers, private and nonprofit professionals who provide funding or support for individuals with disabilities, and family members interested of those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
