ISSN (printed): 1876-3367. ISSN (electronic): 1876-3375.
A collaborative effort between The University of Toronto Faculty of Law and Yale Law School, MELG provides a multi-disciplinary peer-reviewed venue for scholars using the lens of law to analyze issues of governance, jurisprudence, and socio-political organization. In doing so, MELG promotes the development of critical, cutting edge scholarship that facilitates an exchange of ideas across boundaries, geographic and otherwise. While MELG adopts a regional focus, it is broad in scope. It offers a place for discussing topics of regional and global concern without treating the region as a self-contained unit. Through this approach, MELG hopes to contribute to shared understandings between peoples, and enhanced scholarship on institutional and human development at the local and global levels.
