Essehist is a magazine written and edited by the students of history from the Faculty of Philosophy in Osijek whose editor in chief is Luka Pejić. Main purpose of the magazine is to encourage students to research, write, and publish their works. Its name was coined by Marko Bagić and it is the acronym of ‘’Esseg’’ (old German name for Osijek) and ‘’historia’’. Each issue is theme-based.
