The volume Scientific papers, series D, Animal Science - The International Session Of Scientific Communications Of The Faculty Of Animal Science represents a speciality periodical from the agricultural sciences field, being published by the Faculty of Animal Science within the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine - Bucharest, on the occasion of the International Scientific Communications Session unfolding, session which takes place yearly. The first volume of the journal was published in 1959 and and it has kept on being published for 52 years, period when it gathered the original scientific contributions of the teaching staff in the country and abroad, as well as of the specialists in the field, resulting in the insertion of the magazine in the international data basis such as EBSCO. Within the magazine, one can found articles and research which are structured on 6 sections, namely: genetics and animals amelioration; alimentation, ecology; reproduction, physiology, anatomy; exploitation and breeding technologies, marketing; food products processing technologies; animals hunting, fishing and aquaculture. Since 2000, the articles have been elaborated in English, thus, the magazine title becoming „Scientific papers, Animal Science, D series – The Scientific Communications International Session of the Animal Science Faculty”, this making easier the journal distribution in famous universities and research institutes abroad, due to international exchanges.
