African Journal of Business Ethics
Afr J Bus Ethics

ISSN (printed): 1817-7417. ISSN (electronic): 0976-3600.

AJoBE was established during 2004 as the official journal of BEN-Africa (Business Ethics Network of Africa). The journal and its current editorial staff are based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The intention is to provide a forum for the publication of scientific articles in the field of business ethics. It is the first journal of business ethics on the African continent. Prospective authors, from Africa in particular, but also from the rest of the world, are invited to submit manuscripts for review. For purposes of quality assurance all manuscripts received are subjected to a double blind peer review process. The aim of the journal is to contribute to the expansion and establishment of business ethics as academic field in Africa. In pursuit of this aim we wish to not only build a continental journal of high quality, but to also ensure that it achieves broad international credibility. Full accreditation will be applied for as soon as sufficient numbers have been published, probably within two years from the date of inception. AJoBE aims to publish original, scientific articles from a variety of methodological and disciplinary perspectives concerning ethical issues related to business. Speculative philosophy, opinion papers and reports of empirical research (quantitative and qualitative) are welcomed. The language medium of publication is English.
