Hepatitis Monthly, the official publication of the Research Center for Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases, Baqiyatallah University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran, is the clinical journal for all practicing gastroenterologists, hepatologists and GI endoscopists. This journal is founded and compiled by Professor Seyed-Moayed Alavian, since 2002. Hepatitis Monthly is the authoritative clinical source in the field of hepatology especially liver diseases. With a broad-based, rigorous, interdisciplinary approach, the journal presents the latest information in the field of hepatology including original manuscripts, meta-analyses and reviews, health economic papers, debates and consensus statements of clinical relevance in hepatology. In addition, evidence-based consensus reports highlight new observations and original research, results with innovative treatments and all other topics relevant to clinical gastroenterology and hepatology. Case reports highlighting disease mechanisms or important clinical observations and letters on articles published in the journal are included.
