RéSource is the Official Journal of the Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa. The journal contributes to the goals and mission of the institute, facilitating commitment to protecting the environment and people of southern Africa from the adverse effects of poor waste and resource management. RéSource's editorial is not restricted to solid waste, and to this end has gained the support of the following vocational bodies which support integrated resources management: Association of Environmental Lawyers, the Chemical Allied Industries Association (CAIA), the Geological Society of southern Africa, the Glass Recycling Association, Keep Durban Beautiful, the National Recycling Forum and the Plastics Federation. The philosophies of our partners underscore the efforts of the publisher of RéSource to ensure the journal maintains its position as a leading magazine in the field of integrated resource management, waste management and environmental management. This is enhanced by the excellent partnership between the journal, the institute and other supporting bodies.
