Laboratoire italien se propose de constituer un lieu de réflexion et de débat pour tous ceux qui s’intéressent à l’Italie en tant que « laboratoire politique ». Concevoir un « laboratoire politique » italien signifie considérer l’Italie, dans sa pluralité et diversité, du Moyen Âge à nos jours, comme un lieu d’élaborations et de réalisations multiples du politique. Concevoir l’Italie comme un « laboratoire » signifie aussi, sur le plan méthodologique, promouvoir des analyses fondées sur des expériences autant que sur des textes et des concepts, loin de toute volonté d’idéalisation. Unité d’objet, pluralité de perspectives : tout se tient dans la constitution du politique. Laboratoire italien est publié avec la collaboration du CERPPI (ENS) et du Dipartimento di scienze giuridiche dell’Università di Trento. The aim of Laboratoire italien is to provide a focus for thinking and debate for all those interested in Italy as a “political laboratory”, from the Middle Ages to the present day. The term “political laboratory” in relation to Italy implies considering the country in its diversity and pluralism, as a locus for multiple developments and achievements in politics. The idea of Italy as “laboratory”, on the methodological scale, also means promoting analyses based on experiment and experience, as much as on texts and concepts, without idealising, through a plurality of perspectives on a single object, politics. Laboratoire italien is published with the collaboration of the CERPPI (ENS) and the Dipartimento di scienze giuridiche dell’Università di Trento.
