ISSN (printed): 1618-7504. ISSN (electronic): 1618-7512.
The International Journal of Asian Management aims to publish mainly original scholarly papers written by members of the International Federation of East Asian Management Association (IFEAMA) established in 1993, and thereby to advance academic understanding of Asian management theory and practice. IFEAMA is currently organized of management associations from Japan, China, Russia, Korea, Vietnam, and Mongolia. Recognizing the importance of Asia and Asian management, many other scholarly Asian associations now are showing interest in participating in IFEAMA. In light of that interest, contributions from non-members are welcomed. While it is recognized that Asian management is influenced by governmental, political, economic, social, and cultural factors, we are attempting in this journal to assist in the understanding of present and potential capabilities of Asian management from diverse perspectives. In this journal we encourage further examination of the process of development of Asian management, focusing on its structure and functions in the globalized managerial environment. The following areas are covered in this journal: (1) Business Finance, (2) Marketing, (3) Small and Medium-sized Businesses, (4) Corporate Strategy, (5) Research and Development, (6) Personnel Management and Labor Relations, (7) Management Education, (8) Entrepreneurship and Venture Business, (9) Regional Management, (10) Environmental Management, (11) Market Economy, (12) Organizational Behavior, (13) Information Systems, (14) Production Management, (15) International Business, (16) Biomanagement, (17) Technology Transfer, and (18) Others.
