Stratum Plus: Archaeology and Cultural Anthropology

Stratum plus is an international scientific journal covering relevant issues of archaeology and cultural anthropology. Published by the High Anthropological School University (Kishinev, Republic of Moldova) since 1999. Language of publication: Russian. All papers are reviewed and supplemented by an abstract in the English language. Experts qualify it as the best periodical in its field in Eastern Europe. Scientific ideology and subjects covered by the journal: Since its appearance, the journal has been positioning itself as supranational and interstate one. Its goal is to arrange ties and unite researchers’ activities from different countries, including, specifically, the post-Soviet countries. Subjects are not limited either regionally or chronologically. They include results of analytical research, interpretations or a high-quality publication of new sources. Contributions on history, ethnology, numismatics, epigraphics and other supplementary historical disciplines are accepted along with papers on archaeology and cultural anthropology. Stratum plus is the main, hence the best, and actually the only opportunity to comprehensively follow development of studies in archaeology and cultural anthropology across the world and, specifically, on the post-Soviet space.
