Organizations may be familiar with the practical tools required to enhance quality and they may be confident about isolating and tackling a quality problem. Yet often there is a lack of knowledge about the academic and theoretical background that can hinder the implementation or management of quality issues. Asian Journal on Quality (AJQ) provides an understanding of the academic and theoretical background, with a speciality in quality issues faced in Asia. AJQ provides those involved in quality management, both in research and practice, with ideas, news, research findings, case examples and a forum for discussion on quality management and its related fields.
