In the first three sections, respectively concerned with civil, criminal and administrative-fiscal law, this review publishes rulings given by judges throughout Italy, accompanied by editorial and critical comment, criteria of choice being the novelty and real interest featuring the various decisions. The four one concerns doctrine with articles and reviews: theoretical notes related to forensic practice. Only if regularly informed about trial court proceedings can the profession keep in touch with developing tendencies in application of new laws, gain an understanding of principles - often of the greatest interest -underlying settlements of disputes over which a compromise has subsequently been reached or judgement accepted, and be kept informed about rulings which, for reasons of competence, do not lie within the scope of judgements on legitimacy. This journal therefore aims to give adequate publicity to this type of decision as well as to provide opportunities for comparing and evaluating the various trends appearing today in trial court proceedings.
