The journal offers a more or less complete picture of civil law in its widest sense and includes decisions made by the Constitutional Court, by the ordinary and administrative magistracy and by the EEC Court of Justice. Attention is also shown to the work of trial court judges whose verdicts are published when of particular legal significance. All the measures that receive publication are accompanied by notes compiled by an editorial body set up for the purpose, or by comments from experts in the various subjects treated. The second part consists of reviews of the most topical problems facing members of the profession, whether on the theoretical or practical side, and of articles on questions of immediate interest to the reader. Edited by well-known magistrates and academics, features of the periodical are timeliness and accuracy of information given and the interest shown in legal research, aiming as it does to promote fruitful exchange between legal theory and practice through careful selection of jurisprudence and a critical analysis of doctrine.
