North-Western Journal of Zoology
N West J Zool
The North-Western Journal of Zoology is the official zoology and animal ecology journal of the Herpetological Club of Oradea (HCO), Romania. N West J Zool publishes papers in the broad field of zoology. Manuscripts must be written in grammatically correct British English. Manuscripts submitted to N West J Zool are not been published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The N West J Zool will be published twice a year (first in summer and then in winter). Both original research papers and reviews are welcomed. Review papers should deal with topics of general interest or of contemporary importance, being synthetic rather than comprehensive in emphasis. Authors of Review papers should consult with the editor before submission. Original research papers are welcomed both as full-length papers or short notes. The editors reserve the right to move manuscripts from one to other category. The editors and the associate editors of the N West J Zool are young researchers (PhD or PhD candidates), who noticed the necessity to create a new peer-reviewed (with national and international reviewers) scientific journal in Romania. The cost of the publishing is supported partly by a local company and partly by the Herpetological Club of Oradea.
