SEECI Communication Journal, founded in March 1997 by a group of Journalism and Communication Studies tenured lecturers at the Faculty of Journalism of the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), has been continuously published since then by the SEECI Society (Spanish Society for Ibero-American Communication Studies). It is a non-commercial scientific journal, the Dean of Spanish academic electronic journals. The journal is fully bilingual: all articles are published in their original language (Spanish, Portuguese or French) and in English. As well, in the case of articles originally in English the translation into Spanish is also available. It appears three times a year, issuing a number the 15th of March, July, and November, although it is possible to send us items at any time. In each issue, the journal publishes a total of only nine items. We may also publish special issues relating to topics that are current or of great relevance to the university community. SEECI Communication Journal exclusively publishes original, previously unpublished papers in the field of Communication and its specific derivations: Information and Communication Technologies, Communication Sociology, Mass Media Communication, Cinema, Television and Radio.
