The aim of Sensory Neuron (formely: Primary Sensory Neuron) is to publish research papers, general reviews, viewpoints, and comments on all aspects of sensory receptors and primary afferent neurons in various sensory systems: acoustico-lateralis, olfactory, somatic, taste, visceral, and visual, ranging through molecular, cellular, biochemical, biophysical, physiological, pharmacological, theoretical and clinical aspects. The scope of the journal is broad and includes topics such as morphology and development, membrane properties, mechanism of primary transduction, mechanism of generation of impulse activity, neuro-glial relationship, neurotrophic regulation, efferent control, pathological aspects, theoretical aspects, clinical application.
