Scheduled for launch in 2006, ACS Chemical Biology will provide a central forum for research at the interface of chemistry and the life sciences, emphasizing the use of rigorous chemical and biological approaches to solve problems in living systems. ACS Chemical Biology will seek to support a unique community of researchers by publicizing their work as broadly as possible, by providing venues for the exchange of ideas and approaches, and by creating a dynamic Web gateway that allows access to high quality information. Coverage will target fields that use a combination of chemical and biological tools to dissect nature's complexity. In addition to publishing full length peer-reviewed research articles, each issue will include a variety of added content—such as features from ACS Journals, perspectives, reviews, and mini-reviews.
