Calcium Binding Proteins
ISSN (printed): 1554-8643. ISSN (electronic): 1554-8651.
Discontinued in 2008. In January of 2006 we launched Calcium Binding Proteins, the first international peer-reviewed journal to focus exclusively on the structure and function of calcium binding proteins and their association with calcium. Calcium binding proteins have a number of diverse functions and serve as calcium transport, regulator and activator proteins, both inside and outside the cell. Through these functions they are crucially important in the normal working of the cell and play a major role in the regulation of disease processes. Each year new and novel calcium binding proteins are being discovered and their functions unravelled. Calcium Binding Protiens publishes three general types of papers: original research, methods and technical advances, and reviews and meeting reports.
