The Journal of Electronic Resources in Law Libraries will focus on the digital resources and services that law libraries provide and the educational opportunities that this technology affords. It will feature current research that affects the kinds of resources available to law libraries and the enhanced services law libraries may provide. The journal is directed to a diverse group of individuals and institutions - law librarians, academics in information science, and legal practitioners. Topics to be addressed in the journal include: the creation of electronic legal resources, user interfaces to electronic resources, access to multiple databases, adding value to electronic resources, services provided by law libraries via electronic resources, licensing, acquisition and collection development issues, techniques for encouraging the use of electronic resources in law libraries. The journal's international perspective and interdisciplinary approach will reflect the diversity of digital information applications employed in law libraries around the world. Contributors to the journal will include professionals involved in different aspects of law librarianship and information science from around the world.
