Asia Pacific Journal of Life Sciences' is an international journal which presents the latest original research papers in the areas of information and life science. The interaction and interdependence between information science and life science is expected to grow exponentially in the 21st century. The development of life sciences on the basis of information science and computation will reveal many significant problems in life sciences and will also lead to many new and important discoveries including targeted and break-through drugs. The application fields include biotechnology, genomics, proteomics, e-health, pharmaceutical, agricultural sciences. The journal will focus on applied mathematics, information science, parallel processing, computational biology, electronic communications, bioscience, medical engineering, and pharmaceutical science. Contributions to 'Asian Information-Science-Life' are welcome in the following formats : original research papers, surveys, book and paper reviews, etc. Papers, and contributions are welcome on all subjects of information science and life science. Especially welcome are papers, articles and material that pioneer new research directions, raise new questions and new possibilities, or examine old problems from a new angle. Asian Information-Science-Life also publishes special issues for summaries of scientific and technical progress in selected frontier fields in information science and life science.
