Molecular Imaging
Mol Imag

ISSN (printed): 1535-3508. ISSN (electronic): 1536-0121.

Molecular Imaging facilitates the exchange of biologists and imaging scientists by the timely publication of studies which combine advances in non-invasive molecular imaging modalities with molecular and cellular biology. Studies include those of intact living organisms at the human, animal, cellular or molecular levels which advance our understanding of biological events in living systems and how these events relate to normal and pathological processes. Molecular Imaging utilizes image modalities including: nuclear medicine technologies (SPECT and PET) and non-nuclear techniques such as MRI, MCS, CT, ultrasound, intravital microscopy, optical imaging and diffuse optical tomography. Our goal is to elucidate molecular and cellular mechanisms, accelerate understanding of biology, test efficacy of therapeutic interventions in intact living organisms, and assess therapeutic outcomes.
