The Journal of Whiplash & Related Disorders is multidisciplinary, examining the problem of whiplash injuries from all relevant perspectives, including: clinical; biomechanical; engineering; societal; traffic safety. Upcoming issues of the journal address cutting-edge issues such as: the role of functional MRI imaging for whiplash victims; using the Smooth Pursuit neck torsion test as an objective way to differentiate whiplash-injured from non-whiplash injured patients; the prevalence of cervical facet pain due to whiplash in specialty practices; coping as a mediator of WAD symptoms.
