The Journal of Brief Therapy is published twice a year and is devoted to publishing scholarly, peer-reviewed articles on developments, innovations, and research related to all theoretical approaches, techniques, interventions, legislation, social policies, and service delivery systems that deal specifically with or impact on brief (time-limited) psychotherapy and counseling with individuals, couples, families, and groups. The Journal of Brief Therapy contains scholarly articles in different formats on various topics such as theory development, innovations in techniques and interventions, literature reviews, clinical outcome studies, single-subject research, case studies, meta-analysis, evidence-based practice, survey research studies, research updates, updates on managed behavioral health care, and book and media reviews.
