Published since 2000 by the Groupe de recherche ethnicité et société, Diversité urbaine : cahiers du Groupe de recherche ethnicité et société (Working Papers of GRES, Urban Diversity Series) investigate new cultural forms, ethnicity, ethnic relations, immigration issues and social dynamics within Quebec and elsewhere. The journal serves as a multidisciplinary publishing site for both young and established social science researchers who, in large part, utilize an empirical approach. Texts, published in French or English, may take the form of either an article or research notes. Diversité urbaine enjoy national and international dissemination thanks to GRES' partner laboratories and, more broadly speaking, research centres and organizations interested in work within the field of ethnic relations.
