The Canadian Journal of Emergency Medicine (CJEM) is a peer-reviewed Canadian emergency medicine (EM) journal that publishes articles of interest to EM care providers in rural, urban, or academic settings. CJEM is published by the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians as part of its mission to its members and the EM community at large. CJEM focuses on content relevant to emergency medicine practice, clinical care, research and education. We welcome article submissions in the following categories: EM Advances (original research), State of the Art (review articles), Pharmacotherapy, Controversies (commentaries, special articles), CJEM Journal Club, Education, Methodology: the Science of EM, Case Reports, ED Administration, Letters, Resident Issues, Diagnostic Challenge, Pediatric EM, Toxicology, Small Urban & Rural Issues, Medical Mythology, Humour & Humanity, International EM, and Media Reviews.
