Launched in 2003, this new journal explores the manifold connections and interactions between politics and psychotherapy, both in theory and in practice. It focuses on the application to political problematics of thinking that originates in the field of psychotherapy, and equally on the application within the field of psychotherapy of political concepts and values. Articles are welcomed from all schools of psychotherapy and from across the political spectrum, with topics including: ecopsychology feminism and psychotherapy therapeutic views on homosexuality psychotherapeutic contributions to political theroy and practice internal politics of therapeutic organizations political critiques of psychotherapy radical psychotherapy Freud and Marx humanistic psychology and political humanism historical material This journal will appeal to the wide range of individuals with either or both an academic and an activist involvement in the field.
