Electronic Journal of Contemporary Japanese Studies
Electron J Contemp Jpn Stud
Published/Hosted by University Sheffield, School of East Asian Studies.
The electronic journal of contemporary japanese studies is a journal in the social sciences that is dedicated to publishing academic research and scholarly writing on all issues related to contemporary Japanese society, economy, politics, and culture. The journal adopts an multi-disciplinary stance in the hope that it will contribute to a deeper and broader understanding of Japan and the Japanese people as an integral part of global 21st century life and that it will, consequently, help to improve our understanding of the totality of human experience. As such, therefore, we encourage submissions in all areas of sociology, economics, political science, and cultural studies that have contemporary Japan as their principal area of focus but that also relate Japan to broader developments elsewhere in the world.
