Paediatric and Perinatal Drug Therapy is a multi-disciplinary publication to assist in the treatment of the young. It publishes both original articles and topical reviews of drug therapy in paediatrics and neonatology that are of clinical relevance, academic interest and educational value to health professionals. Subjects covered include the efficacy of drugs in different age groups, measuring blood concentrations of drugs and /or metabolites; surveillance for adverse effects; developing guidelines for drug usage; mechanisms of drug action and toxicity; appropriate formulations for age groups; and licensing issues. All material is peer reviewed. Paediatric and Perinatal Drug Therapy will provide clinicians and researchers with an important new forum for understanding the relationship between medicines and young patients.
