Single Molecules is a truly international interdisciplinary journal covering all aspects of single molecule investigations in chemistry physics and life sciences; single molecules in diverse environments such as liquids solids membranes surfaces and polymers single atoms and nanoparticles all kinds of ultrasensitive detection techniques such as spectroscopies and microscopies methods of manipulating and modifying single particles It is the aim of Single Molecules to stimulate the exchange of ideas between the different scientific disciplines involved and to provide a forum for discussion of all topics relevant to research on single atomic or molecular entities.
