Broad in scope the Journal of Plant Nutrition and Soil Science has been one of the leading European periodicals in its field since 1922. It includes original papers covering the entire spectrum of plant nutrition and soil science. In addition short communications book reviews and discussions on current literature are provided. The section on plant nutrition includes papers on plant physiology plant nutrition fertilization food quality and ecology. The soil science section encompasses topics such as the physics chemistry biology mineralogy ecology genetics systematics and distribution of soils as well as soil fertility and soil protection. Papers on geomorphology hydrology land use and landscaping are also included.
