Exogenous Dermatology

ISSN (printed): 1424-4616. ISSN (electronic): 1424-4624.

This bimonthly, peer-reviewed journal is the Official Journal of the International Contact Dermatitis Research Group. "Exogenous Dermatology" publishes clinically focused articles on dermatologic conditions caused by all kinds of environmental impact on the skin: irritant and allergic reactions, UV light and radiation-induced conditions, and infectious diseases. Etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of exogenous dermatoses are covered. A strong emphasis is made on clinical trials and epidemiologic studies in the perspective of evidence-based medicine. The journal serves as a platform of communication between dermatologists, occupational physicians, allergists, toxicologists, pharmacists, microbiologists, and scientists in the pharmaceutic and cosmetic industry. Each issue contains a review article, clinical and experimental studies, and concise letters to the editor presenting new information on environmental pathogenic factors such as new allergens and irritants, the management of exogenous dermatoses, and short case reports.
