Dermatology and Psychosomatics
Dermatol Psychosom

ISSN (printed): 1422-9196. ISSN (electronic): 1424-0564.

In the past few years the research activities in psychosomatic dermatology have significantly expanded. Today they cover a variety of issues such as the management and psychodynamics of skin diseases, psychopharmacology, psychobiology, psychophysiology, psychoneuroimmunology, psychotherapy, quality of life research, and health economics. The new journal Dermatology and Psychosomatics offers for the first time an interdisciplinary forum for dermatology and psychosomatics, psychiatry and clinical psychology. It is an innovative journal including peer reviewed original articles and reviews in English. Dermatology and Psychosomatics provides the rapid transfer of new findings in basic and therapy research into clinic and practice. The journal is a platform for the exchange between clinical dermatology and psychosomatic-psychiatric research. Dermatology and Psychosomatics is indispensable reading to dermatologists in clinic, practice and rehabilitation, psychosomatic-dermatologic oriented practitioners, psychosomatic-psychotherapeutic doctors and medical psychologists, and also to pharmaceutical companies, institutes and organizations in health research, health economics, and outcomes research.
