Eur J Work Organ Psychol

ISSN (printed): 1359-432X. ISSN (electronic): 1464-0643.

How do busy professionals find time to keep up-to-date in their area of expertise? How do academics discover what are the real problems facing employees and organizations? Answer; they all read the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology. It is the express aim of EJWOP to bring professionals and academics into closer collaboration. To this end, from September 2000 the journal will be open for free submission of original high quality articles that are of value to professionals and academics in the field of work and organizational psychology. In addition, EJWOP will continue to publish theme issues on topics, which are of immediate relevance to the world of work and organizational psychology. Articles to be published in the Journal may contain empirical work, theoretical contributions, and reviews. Methodological contributions will be considered, as long as they are relevant to the field of work and organizational psychology. However, studies dealing with ?student subjects? will usually not be accepted. When submitting articles, authors should make clear the impact of their work for the professional field, and each article should include a paragraph that clearly discusses the implications for the field. Proposals for theme issues are also welcome. In particular, professionals working in the field of work and organizational psychology are invited to send in contributions, whether they are reactions or comments on articles that have been published, or news and new developments that are relevant for colleagues.
