Probe Microscopy is devoted to publishing papers relating to science and technology using local probe methods. It covers applications from physics, chemistry, material science, biology and engineering. The journal also aims to include other types of measurement and fabrication methods where applied on the atomic and molecular scale. There is no other journal at present which is specifically targeted at probe microscopy in this way. Discontinued in 2003.
